Mooring Guide

Once you have completed your entry to The Portal Company JOG Week, you will receive an email with a link to complete your mooring preferences. If you have any difficulties with this you can email communications@jogweek.com.

21st July Portland

All competitors can take advantage of free mooring in Portland Marina, courtesy of Dean and Reddyhoff. Your are required to completed the online form via the email to qualify for free mooring.

Dean and Reddyhoff have reserve the south side of S pontoon and the north side of R pontoon for JOG Week, boats should call on VHF Ch.80 when they are off the swinging moorings at the entrance to the marina and check in at the visitors office on arrival where you will be provided with the gate codes and relevant marina information. 22nd - 27th  (excl. 24th) July Dartmouth

The following arrangements have been made with the Dart Harbour Navigation Authority (DHNA) and will require booking via link on a first come first served basis.

The following options will be made available:

The Town Jetty Pontoon (walk ashore with water and electric), inside and outside berths.  Outside berths are only available from 1700hrs-0845hrs. The whole of our DC visitor pontoon which is non-walk ashore and does not have power and water.  This is located just to the north of the town jetty.

  • Town Jetty inside berths (24 hr) - two abreast only - the length of pontoon is 60m. Per metre overnight/day rate for mooring fees is £2.30p.
  • Town Jetty outside berths (1700-0845hrs only) – up to three abreast – length of pontoon 80m. Per metre overnight/day rate for mooring fees is £1.35p.
  • DC visitor Pontoon (24hr) – two abreast only – Length of pontoon 36m x 2 (each side).  Per metre overnight rate for mooring fees is £0.85p.

Daily harbour visitor dues will be added to the mooring fee price and this is £0.85p per metre per overnight/day for all areas.

Boats staying for 5 nights will be given 5 nights for the price of 3 nights, fees should be paid at The Royal Dart Yacht Club prior to Tuesday 24th July.

DHNA will also put on a free yacht taxi for entered competitors on our non-walk ashore pontoon/s to help get people either to the RDYC or the Dartmouth side of the river.  This operates 0800-2300hrs every day.  Contactable on VHF Channel 69 “Yacht Taxi” or telephone at 07970 346571.

Pre-booked Boats taking advantage of the DHNA mooring offer should contact DHNA on VHF Channel 11 “DARTNAV” on arrival to the harbour.

Noss Marina is offering discounted berthing along with river taxi facilities to entrants. These will need to be booked directly at:

24th July Plymouth

The passage race to Plymouth will finish Close to Mount Batten Yacht Haven Marina, where mooring has been arranged for competitors on the events pontoon.
